摘要：

A 19 year-old patient's case is described, she presented hypertension, pre-tibial edema and proteinuria at 34 weeks of gestation, and was diagnosed as mild preeclampsia. She underwent a cesarean section due to alterations in fetal cardiac frequency, the patient developed HELLP syndrome with posterior cerebellar infarction and death.
