摘要
This paper aims to investigate some relations between children, their daily experiences and children's literature. Were used data extracted from a dissertation based on the reference of research with children and ethnographic approach to the monitoring group of the 1st year of elementary school (public school of sao paulo). Observation, field diary and group interviews with children were the instruments of data collection. For thick description and interpretation of data (geertz, 2011) were used theoretical references of interpretative studies of childhood based on the concepts of collective agency (mayall, 2002; corsaro, 1997), interpretive reproduction and peer culture (corsaro, 1997, 2005, 2011). The field of literature used the concepts of function humanizing literature (candio, 1972, 2004), aesthetics of reception (jauss, 1994), activity of the reader (zilberman, 2003), among others.
