摘要
A method for detecting step-like excitation and ionization of particles in a plasma is suggested and adapted to pulse-periodic discharges in metal vapors. The method of the resonance optical drive as applied to transient processes in a plasma is developed and is shown to yield relative values of excitation constants, criteria for applicability of various kinetic models for pulsed lasers, and so on.
