An FEA study of temperature distribution in cross section and along the axial direction of a high-speed mini turbine generator of 100-kW rating at 12 000 rpm with a cooling system patented under Russian Federation patent no. 2379813 is carried out. Different cooling systems are compared. © 2013 Allerton Press, Inc.
