摘要
Incremental sheet forming technology is nowadays a promising process to produce small batch components, with a growing potential application into the field of rapid prototyping, part’s customization or biomechanics. Doing so, its major features are the low cost, relative simplicity and flexible implementation for complex deep-drowned parts, when compared to well-established sheet metal forming technologies. Nevertheless, although many experimental and numerical studies have being carried out recently, the low speed of production and low dimensional precision are still the main obstacles in the application of this technique.
