The temperature dependences of the wetting angles of zinc and Serbian bronze on a WC–Co hard alloy are studied by the sessile drop method. The polytherm of the zinc wetting angles in the temperature range from the melting point to 800°C is approximated by the equation θ = 149–0.01t, while for Serbian bronze, the dependence θ(t) from the melting point to 600°C is nonlinear. Then, a descending branch is observed, which is approximated by the equation θ(t) = 140–0.005t. The nonlinear dependence of θ(t) is consistent with the previously found dependence for the surface tension σ(t). © 2017, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
