摘要
A model of growth of short fatigue cracks in the vicinity of nonmetallic inclusions in crystalline metallic materials is proposed. We establish the influence of inclusions on the fatigue strength of materials of this type. A conclusion is made that the inclusions whose typical size is smaller than the grain size exert practically no influence on the fatigue strength of the material.
