Crystal structure and polymorphism of NaSrVO4: the first AIBIIXVO4 larnite-related structure from X-ray powder diffraction data

The previously unknown crystal structure of sodium strontium vanadate, NaSrVO4\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$_4$$\end{document}, is determined and refined from laboratory X-ray powder diffraction data. The title compound exhibits the larnite β-Ca2SiO4\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$\beta\text{-}\textrm{Ca}_2\textrm{SiO}_4$$\end{document} structure. This is the first report of such chemistry AIBIIXO4\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$\textrm{A}^{I}\textrm{B}^{II}\textrm{XO}_{4}$$\end{document}, which exhibits this structural type. NaSrVO4\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$\textrm{NaSrVO}_4$$\end{document} exhibits 2 first-order-phase transitions above room temperature towards, respectively, an orthorhombic phase and an α-Ca2SiO4\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$\alpha\text{-}\textrm{Ca}_2\textrm{SiO}_4$$\end{document} hexagonal-related structure.
