Endotoxin aggression of intestinal origin occurs in 89% of patients with acute myocardial infarction and may be a factor of the induction and/or progression of the disease. The most common sources of endotoxin aggression are Escherichia coli, Bacteroides, Klebsiella, Proteus, and Pseudomonas. © 2014 Pleiades Publishing, Inc.
