Abstract: Technologies fundamental to the Industry 4.0 paradigm are considered. Priorities in the machine-tool industry are determined. The current state of key technologies is analyzed, globally and in Russia. On that basis, priorities are outlined for technological development in the machine-tool industry. © 2021, Allerton Press, Inc.
