Pure closed medial ankle dislocation without fracture

Ankle dislocation without associated fracture is rare injury. We reported a case of closed pure medial ankle dislocation without any associated bony injury. In our knowledge there is no previous report on closed pure medial ankle dislocation without fracture published in the English literature. Patient was treated conservatively with immediate reduction under general anaesthesia and immobilised in a below knee cast and resulted in satisfactory outcome at 6 months follow up.
