摘要：

The reaction of cholesteryl triphenylphosphonioacetate chloride with heterocyclic aldehydes and hetaroyloxyarenecarbaldehydes in the presence of base gave the corresponding cholesteryl esters of substituted propenoic acids possessing liquid crystal propertie.
