摘要
This paper presents new absolute measurements of the thermal conductivity of aqueous potassium chloride solutions using the transient coated-hot-wire technique. The data cover the range from 295 to 360 K at pressures slightly above the vapor pressures and over a concentration range of 0 to 3 mol·kg−1. The instrument can be used to measure the thermal conductivity with a reproducibility of better than 0.2%, and a comparison of the present results with data available in the literature indicates that the uncertainty of the present data is better than 0.5%. An empirical correlation that reproduces the data within the claimed uncertainty is presented.
