In this paper, we study some uniqueness problems of meromorphic functions when certain nonlinear differential polynomials generated by them share a nonconstant polynomial. The results of the paper improve the concerning results due to Xu et al. (Mat Vesnik 64:1–16, 2012). © 2008 Springer International Publishing.
