摘要：

The theory of sampling operators is one of the major areas of analysis in which Paul Leo Butzer and his colleagues/students have achieved long-term and excellent theoretical results. We limit ourselves here to the Mellin sampling operators introduced by Paul Butzer some 25 years ago, but our treatment comes from the point of view of the cosine operator function.
