Numerous experimental data are generalized to calculate the basic characteristics (excess vapor pressure, time of pressure setting, vapor flux) of high-intensity drying with internal heat sources. The role of pressure-gradient mass transfer is discussed. The major factor in the intensification of high-frequency and microwave drying is the evolution of a large amount of heat per unit time, which ensures a high phase transition rate.
