Krätze und Salzschlacke sind prozessbedingte Reststoffe der Sekundäraluminiumproduktion, die nicht nur aufgrund von Umweltauflagen, sondern auch durch ihr Wertpotenzial einer entsprechenden Aufbereitung bedürfen. Daraus resultierende Rückstände, die in der vorliegenden Arbeit auf ihre Hauptbestandteile untersucht werden (z. B. der Metallgehalt über die Wasserstoffentwicklung), gewinnen durch steigende Rohstoffpreise an Bedeutung. Geeignete Weiterverwendungsmöglichkeiten für diese oxidischen Reststoffe spielen für die Recyclingbetriebe eine wesentliche Rolle, wobei hier im Besonderen auf die Wirtschaftlichkeit eingegangen wird.
