Factorizing Dimension-Like Properties of Subsets of Topological Spaces

摘要：
The paper presents an approach into the factorization theory of properties of dimension-like type for subsets of a topological space. It is based on a special type of "dimension" of a space on its subspaces which behaves well with respect to factorizations and extensions of continuous maps and agrees with the covering dimension of closed subsets of normal spaces.
