:
The properties of oxide powders from different suppliers are considered. The production of molybdenum powder by the reduction of oxides in hydrogen is discussed. The influence of the oxide properties on the properties of the molybdenum powder is demonstrated. Recommendations are made regarding means of assessing powder quality. © 2010 Allerton Press, Inc.
