摘要：
The problem of optimal superstructure-based synthesis of a system of distillation columns is formulated as a mixed integer nonlinear programming problem, and a branch-and-bound method is suggested for solving this problem. A two-stage approach to the problem is described, and the corresponding computational algorithm is presented.
