Abstract: Based on the experiment, the role of the wing noise in the overall noise level of an unmanned aerial vehicle with a piston engine is shown. The effect of the wing noise on the spectral and spatial characteristics of the UAV sound field is studied. The models for assessment of airframe noise are presented. The main ways to reduce the wing noise are considered. © 2021, Allerton Press, Inc.
