Digital control method of circle chart testing of the on-load regulator of power transformers

A new digital method of circle chart testing of the load regulator connected to the neutral of a power transformer has been developed. The method allows one to automatically register the moments of activation of the switcher contacts and the contactor with simultaneous detection of the output shaft of the on-load regulator drive by means of a digital register and a sensor of the rotation angle having an electric output. The circle chart test method is applicable to high speed on-load regulators with active current-limiting resistors © Allerton Press, Inc. 2007.
