In this paper, we define the (p,q)\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$(p,q)$\end{document}-Bernstein polynomials of degree m of a quaternion variable. We obtain some approximation results, and also the Voronovskaja type result with quantitative upper estimates is proved.
