摘要
The steady two-dimensional laminar incompressible electrically conducting viscous fluid on a moving flat plate in the presence of a transverse magnetic field is studied. Taking suitable similarity variables, we transform the governing boundary layer equations into ordinary differential equations and solve them numerically by standard techniques. The effects of moving and magnetic parameters, Prandtl number, and Eckert number on the velocity and temperature as well as on the skin-friction coefficient and Nusselt number are studied. © 2014, Springer Science+Business Media New York.
