Abstract: The influence of the turbulent speed of flame propagation on the indicated characteristics of the aircraft piston engine is investigated. It was revealed that an increase of the flame speed contributes to a decrease of fuel consumption, an increase of efficiency and power of the engine. © 2021, Allerton Press, Inc.
