摘要
This paper presents some basic functions of ITS and sensors technology used in ITS for collision avoidance. It presents a comparison of various sensors used in collision detection and avoidance by explaining its description, applications, merits, and demerits. With the help of comparison table, it analyzed that automotive radar sensor used to provide a more comfortable and secure driving environment. It also presents the various type of automotive radar sensor used in ITS and comparative analysis of short, mid and long range radar. © 2018, Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of Computer Applications and Management.
