Abstract—Engineering solutions in pipe production are considered upon the development of tribological principles for reducing friction forces at the contacting surfaces in order to improve the quality of the resulting product. An experience in testing engineering solutions under industrial conditions with assessing economic effect resulting from their application in the manufacturing of pipes is presented. It is shown that achieving a high product quality at minimal cost with no use of modern lubricants is impossible. © 2022, Allerton Press, Inc.
