Exchangeable, humic-bound, and acid-soluble fractions of 60Co in bottom sediments of the coastal zone in the Chazhma Bay of the Sea of Japan, contaminated as a result of nuclear accident in a submarine, were identified by sequential extraction. 60Co is tightly fixed in the matrix of the hot particles. © 2007 Pleiades Publishing, Inc.
