摘要
We conceptually discuss the methodological aspects of the application of the phenomenon of acoustic emission to the diagnostics and non-destructive testing of products and their elements and units and offer approaches to the theoretical and experimental study of the interrelation of parameters of acoustic emission signals with the characteristics of nucleation and propagation of crack-like defects. We propose to use new techniques for determination of the coordinates of defects, their geometrical size, and their orientation in real constructions on the basis of the results of research and the new technical means developed for realization of these techniques. Prospects of the application of these techniques to non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics of products at the stage of their manufacture, when starring tests, and during operation are justified.
