Vorticity measure of type-II superconducting thin films

In this paper, we study the Ginzburg-Landau system of variable thickness superconducting thin films, placed in an applied magnetic field h ex, when h ex is of the order of the "first critical field", i.e. of the order of |ln∈ε|. We examine the asymptotic behavior of the "vorticity-measures" associated to the vortices of the solution and describe the distribution of vortices. © 2010 Korean Society for Computational and Applied Mathematics.
