摘要
This study develops a gradient model to consider heterogeneity of granular materials by means of a thermo-micromechanics method and the hypothesis of kinematics. In this model, the macroscopic variables are related to the micro information by a non-affine projection scheme. Numerical examples illustrated the capability and performance of the presented model in modeling deformation patterns in case of considering particle rolling and not considering particle rolling, and investigated the validity for the stress–strain relation of the presented model.
