摘要
It is proposed that all fuels be divided into three types according to their slagging and contamination properties depending on the mineralogical composition of the mineral part. It is shown that the recommendations for evaluating the thermal efficiency of heating surfaces given in current thermal design standards apply to only one type of fuel. Only fragmentary data are available for the other two types of fuel and these need further refinement. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York.
