摘要
A brief overview of the history of faunistic studies in Russia during the past century is presented. The existence of 643 species of 148 genera (28 families) is reported according to the results of the long-term investigation of the Russian fauna of the Trichoptera. There are 4 regional faunas of Trichoptera in Russia: Boreal European, Caucasian, Siberian, and Far Eastern. The tasks and prospects of the future studies are considered.
