Magnetic susceptibility and heat capacity of V2O3 and V1.973Me0.020O3 (Me = Fe, Cr, and Al)

摘要
The vanadium sesquioxide is chosen as an object of research. The metal-insulator phase transition accompanied by structural and antiferromagnetic transformations is observed in it when the temperature increases in the vicinity of ТMd ~ 170 K. It is well known that the temperature of the vanadium oxide phase transition depends not only on the sample structure within the homogeneity region, but also on the preparation doping by atoms of other type. Dependences of heat capacity Сp and magnetic susceptibility χ on the temperature (80–300 K) are investigated for V2O3 and V1.973Me0.020O3 (Me = Fe, Cr, and Al) samples.
