Effect of anions on the formation of solid substitution solutions on the basis of clathrate hydrates in the tetrabutylammonium hydroxide-tetrabutylammonium halide (F−, Cl−, Br−)-water system series

Solubility isotherms for the tetrabutylammonium chloride tetrabutylammonium hydroxide water system at 17 and 20°C were studied to reveal formation of two series of solid solutions on the basis of tetragonal (salt-water, 1 : 32) and cubic (1 : 28) clathrate hydrates. The nature of halide anions affects the formation of solid substitution solutions in the tetrabutylammonium hydroxide-tetrabutylammonium halide (F−, Cl−, Br−)-water system series.
