Dargestellt wird der Todesfall einer jungen Frau, die bis dahin nie ernsthaft erkrankt gewesen war. Todesursächlich war ein nichtbekanntes intrakranielles Lipom, das zu einem Hydrocephalus occlusus und so zu einem zentralen Regulationsversagen geführt hatte. Bei Lipomen im Schädelinneren handelt es sich um seltene, angeborene Raumforderungen, die normalerweise gutartig sind und lebenslang asymptomatisch bleiben.
