摘要：
Als Subarachnoidalblutung (SAB) wird die Blutung bezeichnet, die sich in den äußeren Liquorräumen zwischen Arachnoidea und Pia mater entwickelt. Die mit Abstand häufigste, nichttraumatische Ursache ist ein rupturiertes Aneurysma der basalen Hirnarterien. Die Computertomographie ist in der Regel die erste diagnostische Maßnahme zum Nachweis einer möglichen SAB. Das frische Blut zeigt sich charakteristisch hyperdens im Subarachnoidalraum. Die Blutverteilung im Subarachnoidalraum erbringt oft Hinweise auf die Lokalisation eines rupturierten Aneurysmas.
