A series of thiuronium salts have been synthesized via reactions of various thioamides with 2-bromo-7-methyl-5-oxo-5H-1,3,4-thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidine. The products have been characterized with respect to antimicrobial activity. © 2006 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc.
