Microwave-Assisted Combustion Synthesis of Fe3O4 Undoped and Cr-Doped Fe3O4 Nanoparticles: Morphological, Structural, Optical, and Magnetic Behavior

Cr-doped Fe3O4 nanoparticles have been efficiently synthesized by microwave combustion approach to evaluate structural, magnetic, and optical properties. The as-synthesized Fe3O4 nanopowders structural, optical, morphological, and magnetic properties assessment was carried out by employing X-ray diffraction analysis, optical spectroscopic technique, scanning electron microscope, and vibrating-sample magnetometer. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis studied the structural properties of the nanoparticles and confirms structure of the Fe3O4 and Cr-doped Fe3O4 crystal structure. The magnetic hysteresis loops of the samples indicated that the samples are ferromagnetism in nature. The ferromagnetism behavior of the samples is also discussed.
