This paper gives an analytical review of the materials presented at the All-Russian Scientific-Practical Conference "The Demographic Development of Russia: Tasks of the Demographic Policy and Strengthening the Social Support of the Population," which was held on April 19-20, 2011. The reports and discussions at the conference were devoted to analyzing the results of the measures of the demographic policy in Russia in the 2006-2010 period and substantiating the principles for developing new measures of the demographic policy in the period until 2025. © 2011 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
