Formation of primary metabolites of oxidative burst in alveolar macrophages from healthy subjects and patients with chronic lung diseases is studied using the method of luminoldependent chemiluminescence. Incubation with liposomes composed from phosphatidylcholine and a phosphatidylcholine-fatty acid esters mixture induces similar activation of oxidative burst in alveolar macrophages from healthy subjects and patients with lung diseases.
