摘要
Many offshore structures can be modeled as multibody systems. For floating or fully submerged bodies, fluid-structure interactions have to be taken into account. The fluid flow has an influence on the motion of the system and the flow field is influenced by the motion of the system. In this article, ways to model fluid-structure interactions will be discussed and applied to sample problems in offshore engineering.
