摘要
The theta projection method proposed by Evans and Wilshire is being widely used, as its advantages and flexibility are becoming increasingly appreciated. But in fact, some studies have shown that the theta projection method has its own shortcomings. For example, it fails to accurately describe the creep behaviors under constant load conditions. In the present paper, a new modified theta projection model is proposed to describe the variations of creep strain with time for the studied P92 alloy under constant load condition. The creep curves predicted by using the proposed model agree well with experimental data, which confirms that this established creep constitutive model can give an accurate and precise estimate of the creep behavior for P92 alloy.
