摘要：

The determination of tumor markers is an essential component for the clinical diagnostics, therapy control and monitoring of malignant tumors. The SCC is a marker of squamous cell carcinomas, which enables valuable statements to be made about the tumor stage. The sensitivity and specificity of SCC is high. The cause of squamous cell carcinoma can be due to contact with heavy metals, alcohol, smoking or metabolic disorders, so that from an occupational point of view attention should be drawn to such consequences. © 2017, Springer Medizin Verlag GmbH.
