Changes in maize seedlings growth and membrane permeability under the effect of epibrassinolide and heavy metals

摘要
The plant growth regulator epibrassinolide (10−8–10−11 M) effects on growth and membrane permeability have been studied in the maize seedlings affected by zinc and nickel. It has been demonstrated that epibrassinolide had a stimulating effect on the seed germination and maize seedlings’ growth upon the treatment with heavy metals and reduced heavy metals-induced electrolyte leakage from maize cells.
