摘要
Eosinophilic angiocentric fibrosis is a rare disease of unknown cause. This disease, which involves the upper respiratory mucosa, resembles another rare entity, granuloma faciale. Allergy is thought to be an etiological factor and complete surgical excision is the preferred treatment. A case of eosinophilic angiocentric fibrosis of the nasal septum causing airway obstruction is presented here. This is the sixth case to be reported in the English literature, with well-documented histopathological confirmation.
