摘要
The Middle Jurassic flora from Baiyanghe (Baiyang River) area in Junggar Basin, Xinjiang, China, was first reported by Seward (1911) with fossils collected mainly at Ak-djar (Baiyanghe) in Diam (Baiyang) River valley by Russian geologist V.A. Obruchev in 1904–1909. The recent new study of this flora has advanced the taxonomy, particularly for its ferns, including Equisetites, Neocalamites, Coniopteris and Raphaelia. The achievement is related to the Sino-German co-research team working in this basin since 1997, led by V. Mosbrugger and G. Sun.
