An approach to the forced blending of poly(5-vinyltetrazole) with carbon backbone epoxy polymers of various types through the formation of interpolymers has been considered. The covalent bonding of macromolecules of dissimilar polymers is the result of alkylation of unsubstituted N–H tetrazole fragments by oxirane cycles of the second participant of the reaction. Some properties of the resulting amphiphilic network interpolymers have been studied.
