A study on the epitaxial large-size CsPbBr3 nanosheets grown by vapor phase epitaxy

Halide perovskite cesium lead halide (CsPbBr3) nanosheets have attracted extensive attention because of their excellent photoelectric properties. However, the relatively small size of nanosheets hindered the exploration of their potential applications, such as on-chip integration. Herein, a controllable vapor deposition route is demonstrated to synthesize large-size CsPbBr3 nanosheets with domain size reaching 1 mm. The size and thickness of the obtained CsPbBr3 nanosheets can be tuned by temperature and flow rate. The photodetectors based on CsPbBr3 nanosheets exhibit a high responsivity of 46 mA/W and a high current on/off ratio of 5.5 × 104. These results suggest that large-size CsPbBr3 nanosheets will have a broad application prospect in the field of on-chip integrated optoelectronics in the future.
