摘要
A new Early Carboniferous wood of pycnoxylic type is described from Lake Tovskoe locality in the Arkhangelsk Region. Tovoxylon alekseevii gen. et sp. nov. is characterized by short uniseriate rays and narrow tracheids with uniseriate pitting on their radial and tangential walls. The wood under description is compared with the most similar anatomically preserved woods from different Lower Carboniferous localities of the world.
